Happy Significant Birthday to Me

On Tuesday September 15, 2026, I’ll turn 60. What do I wanna do that day? Easy: play a giant show, surrounded by friends onstage and in the audience, celebrating decades of music collaborations. And so I’ll do just that: at Martyrs in Chicago, a place where I’ve played dozens of shows—with The Good, with Tiny Bit of Giant’s Blood, as a solo act, and—unforgettably—as a surprise tribute to the music of Devin Arkin on his final birthday in 2016.
