In the early months of Covid quarantine, my good friend and talented Daytonics frontman Nik Krimm and I finally made good on a years-long pledge to start a keyboard sex funk band. The only adjustment was that instead of playing a bunch of covers like “Afternoon Delight” and “Jack U Off” to leery cabaret audiences, we were holed up in our respective basements without a cabaret audience in sight. So we did what made sense: write a bunch of dance-oriented tracks and record them ourselves. This is the first; “Alexxx,” and it features the freaktastic dancing of Melissa Metro. The single and the full [pink album] is available on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, etc etc. now. Enjoy!
